The Society is today mourning the very sad loss of one of its stalwarts, Miss Ann Hull.
Both a life and Council member of the Shire Horse Society, Ann was a lovely lady who had immense passion for the Shire horse breed and bred her own Shires under the prefix Stanfame.
A well respected Shire Judge Ann officiated at the last National Shire Horse Show in 2019.
As a Council member, we remember Ann spending hours working on the Shire Horse Society’s show stand and with a big smile on her face she would head for the crowds and share her Shire horse knowledge. Her enthusiasm was endless and Ann alone raised money for the charity by selling wristbands to visitors and merchandise along the way.
The Society sends its sincere condolences to Ann’s partner, Col, family and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Rest in Peace Ann.
