We look forward to welcoming our visitors to the 2026 National Summer Show. The show will be held outdoors on Thursday 27th August 2026 at Rockingham Castle, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 8TH. Please note the postal address states near Market Harborough but the event is closer to Corby.
Some of the questions we are asked are listed below.
Please note the office and telephone will not be manned from Wednesday 26th August owing to staff being on site for the Summer Show.
How do I find the National Summer Show?
The show will be held in the Great Park at Rockingham Castle, LE16 8TH. The entrance to the showground is located on Uppingham Road, Corby (A6003) on the outskirts of Corby, Northamptonshire. Please follow signs to the show.
The nearest train station is Corby Station, Station Road, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 1UJ. Located approximately 3.5 miles from the showground.
Are the shows held indoors?
The National Spring Show is held indoors and the National Summer Show is held outdoors.
What time do the public gates open?
They open each day for the public at 8am and close at 6pm.
Can I bring my trade stand to your Show?
Trade stands will be limited at the National Spring Show. Please contact the office for further information on info@shire-horse.org.uk. The National Summer Show (Thursday 27th August 2026) will offer space to traders and the forms will be available to download in 2026.

Can I purchase tickets on the gate?
Yes tickets can be purchased on the gate by cash or card.
Can I pay on the gate by a card payment?
Yes card payments can be taken on the gate.
Do you offer carer's tickets?
If a visitor has a full-time carer or attendant, that carer can have access to the event free of charge by applying before Friday 31st July 2026 with supporting documentation to:

What are the prices for children?
Children under 11 years of age are admitted free of charge. Ticket prices for children aged 12-17 from £5.00.
Can I sponsor at one or both of the shows?
Yes please, sponsorship starts from just £50.00 and comes with many benefits. Donations are very welcome too and the Society is grateful to those that help with this. Please call the office on 01536 771611.
Where can I find local accommodation?
We cannot recommend anywhere in particular but suggest you look at www.booking.com to find accommodation to suit your requirements.
Is there car parking?
Yes, both shows offer parking.
Can I bring my dog to the National Shows?
At the Spring Show the venue does not permit dogs in the grandstand. There is however space on the ground floor to view the show with well-behaved dogs.
The Summer Show we welcome dogs and request that owners do clear up after them.
Is there a cash machine at the National Spring and Summer Shows?
Sorry but there are no cash machines on both show sites.
Can I bring my caravan/motorhome/tent and stay for the 2026 National Summer Show (Rockingham Castle)?
We are unable to accept caravan/motorhomes/tents at the National Summer Show.
What are the postcodes for both shows?
The postcode is CW6 0SR for the National Spring Show on 21st March 2026.
The postcode is LE16 8TH for the National Summer Show on 27th August 2026.
Is there WiFi at the Show?
No not at this time.
