Mr Bull was a prominent breeder, who in his career registered over 150 foals under the 'Arclid' prefix, winning the Champion Stallion at the National Shire Horse Show in 2007 with home-bred Arclid Minshull Monty and the Horse of the Year Show in 1996 with Arclid Rose Marie.

A life member and a long-time member of Council and respected judge, his accolades included judging at the Horse of the Year Show in 1999, judging the National Shire Horse Show three times since 2003 and was also part of the Stallion Inspection Panel.
