We are pleased to announce that bookings for Heavy Horse Camp 2026 are now open! We will be returning to Pickering Grange (LE67 1EZ) on 1st to 3rd May.

Heavy Horse Camp welcomes all pure breeds of heavy horse and is a great learning environment for people either looking to buy a heavy horse or increase their knowledge and improve their skills to enjoy their current horse even more.

Each camper can individually tailor the sessions that they would like to participate in during the two days of training sessions. Day three is a show day, where you can put into practice all the new skills that you have learned (with a little help if needed).

Prior to camp you will be able to choose the sessions and topics that you would like to learn and participate in.

Please note - the Camp Committee is made up of volunteers who kindly give up their time around jobs, horses etc, the first flurry of interest when bookings open creates a lot of work, which they fit in around their other personal commitments. Please be patient while they process your enquiries.
