Sladbrook Benefactor

We sadly lost one of the great Stallions recently, Sladbrook Benefactor…owned by Mr Ron Calder, here are a few facts about this great horse:-
Never placed below 5th at the National show, winning on three occasions (3, 6 and 7 year old and Res champion in 2013). Only placed out of the top 3 once (2yr old).
He was awarded a Super premium at 6 years (one of the youngest to be awarded the honour).
Won at major county shows including the Great Yorkshire Show and breed champion at Royal Norfolk.
HOYS champion in 2012, with Hamlet in reserve- I think it was the only time two stallions have taken the top two places at HOYS.
He was by Walton Supreme and has left some great young stock.

A great loss to the Shire World……our thoughts are with all those who were close to him.
