Sellers: It has been bought to our attention that email ‘scammers’ may have been targeting people selling horses through this website. The Shire Horse Society can accept no responsibility for this activity. We would advise you to check a potential purchaser is legitimate. We would also advise you not to engage in any transaction where you are encouraged to cash bankers draft / cheques prior to the sale and forward money for transport charges back to the purchaser, or other such transactions. If you feel you have been targeted by such a scam please contact the police, Trading Standards or the ISP from which the email was sent.
Buyers: The Shire Horse Society is not and will not be a party to, or responsible for, any transaction concerning horses / other items advertised for sale on the Web Site.
