Shire Horse Society Competition

Calling all budding photographers - we would like to invite you to take part in this year's Shire Horse Society competition. Winner prizes include a year's free membership to the Shire Horse Society and photos will be displayed at our upcoming show.

Details of the competition

Theme: Shire Horse at Work, Rest or Play

Entry details: Entry to the competition is FREE. Entrants do not have to be residents of Europe. An eligible entrant must be an individual and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Photo submissions: Each entrant can submit up to four photographs. The photograph must be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or Lara Crowson, Photo Competition, Shire Horse Society, East of England Showground, Peterborough, Cambs, PE2 6XE Any photograph submitted must be the entrants own work. The photo must be either a digital photograph or a high-quality print out.

Consent and copyright: The entrant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright. By entering your photograph into the competition, you grant The Shire Horse Society permission to use your images for promotion and publicity.

Age groups: Two catagories - Children (12 years and under) and Seniors

Deadline: Closing date for this competition is 8th March 2011

Judging: Final places of 1st, 2nd & 3rd will be awarded in each category. Judging will take place at the Shire Horse Society Spring Show 2011 by Mr J Zawadski and Mr R Fox. Prizes will be awarded accordingly.

Prizes:
1st Place – Single Year Membership to the Shire Horse Society + £30
2nd Place – Single Year Membership to Shire Horse Society + £20
3rd Place – Single Year Membership to the Shire Horse Society
