Show Preparation Day

Lincolnshire Shire Horse Association is holding a Show Preparation Day on 27th May, 2018 at Hockerwood Farm, Southwell Road, Upton, Newark, NG23 5TA between 11am and 3pm. The day will include plaiting of the mane and tail.  Please book your place with Sue on 01526 398 011

Funeral of Mr P Burgess

The funeral of Mr Peter Burgess will take place on Wednesday 9th May at St John’s Church, Tilbury.  The service will start at 11.15am. Following the service Mr Burgess will go to his final resting place at South Essex Crematorium. The Society sends its deepest condolences.

Plaiting Demonstration with Walt Bedford

The South West Yorkshire Shire Horse Society is holding a plaiting demonstration/guest speaker evening with Walt Bedford on Wednesday 23rd May 2018 at 7.30pm at West Bretton Village Hall. The Society is very sad to report that Mr Peter Burgess of Leninhall Shires, a Life Member has passed away.  The Society sends his family and friends their most sincere condolences.
