The funeral of Mr Dennis Toomer (Eversley Shires) will take place on Tuesday, 21st August at 12.40 pm at Basildon Crematorium. Mr Toomer will arrive in the Eversley Shires green dray. The funeral of Mr D F Oliver, OBE will be held on Tuesday, 3rd July, 2018 at St. Wulframs Church, Grantham, Lincolnshire at 2.45pm. Afterwards at The Angel & Royal Hotel which is a five minute walk away. There is ample parking at the hotel Once again the Society sends its deepest condolences to Mr Oliver’s family.
Our new President is Mr James Clarke. James is the Managing Director of Hook Norton Brewery. Hook Norton still use Shires to deliver beer in and around Oxford. The brewery have previously supported the Society at Countryfile Live and we look forward to working with James and all at Hook Norton going forward.
