NEW ARRIVALS AT THE SHIRE HORSE CENTRE, SACREWELL FARM & COUNTRY CENTRE, PETERBOROUGH
Whitewater Bonnie, who was purchased by Mr K Wright from Mr N Blakey, produced a black filly foal on 27th April 2007. The foal is sired by Ruskington Bomber who was bred by Mr Blakey and was recently purchased by Mr E LL Williams, Anglesey. The Foal has been named Lottie after a competition. Mr Wright has also purchased the gelding Cowerslane Masterstroke, sired by Walton Supreme, from Waldburg Shires. All three horses are on loan to the Shire Horse Society Centre at Sacrewell.
Waldburg Shires are now based at Sacrewell and we have 10 horses stabled there.

LAUNCH OF SHIRE HORSE CENTRE AT
SACREWELL FARM & COUNTRY CENTRE, PETERBOROUGH
The Shire Horse Society are proud to announce the handing over of the first Shire horse, Lucy, to Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre in an aim to develop a breeding ground and training centre to help secure the breed's future existence amongst the next generation of Shire horse owners.
It is hoped that other Shire horses in need of re-homing, including a mother and foal and working horses, will join Lucy at Sacrewell later on the year.
